Elite Dance Company is a dance school helping children develop a love of dance. With a range of dance styles available, children benefit in many ways. They increase their concentration and confidence while having fun.
Natalie Ainsworth
Principal Teacher / Director
Natalie is the Owner, Director and Principal teacher at Elite Dance Company. She is a mother of three and started dancing at the age of 4. She studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz and competed in competitions from the age of 6. Growing up, she had a huge passion and love for dance. She participated in many workshops and shows and has had small parts with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. She began teaching with her dancing teacher throughout her college years and began adjudicating competitions from the age of 16. At the age of 18, she joined the faculty at Plimmerton School of Dance, then bought the company. Natalie ran the school as well as studying to become a primary school teacher. She has a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma of Teaching. In 2024 Plimmerton School Of Dance and The Academy Dance and stage School, combined to become Elite Dance Company.
Natalie teaches: NZAMD Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Adult Classes, Contemporary, Pre School
